Ioanna Koliakoudaki, with DNA received from a champion father and a mother lover of classical sports, has just followed her natural talent. Since her early years she was involved in rhythmic gymnastics, track and field sports, basketball, modern ballet and, unsurprisingly, her studies continued in the field of physical education at GRafts Hellas. She has worked as a personal trainer, a group trainer, and has co-operated with large fitness centres of Athens and Piraeus. She has participated in the creative team of pre-choreographed programs of Universal Studios along with other distinguished professionals of the sector (Vaso Pouridou, Thodoris Karampikis, Tasos Balis, etc.).
Since 2005 she is almost exclusively engaged in Yoga and Pilates.
Her training in the Pilates system was performed under the supervision of Elaine Mary Dutton; in parallel she has attended and still attends seminars of well-renowned teachers, such as Rael Isacowitz, Alan Herdman. Also she had studied the course MK Pilates by Michael Alan King & Malcolm Muirhead.
After continuous trips to India to attend courses by leading yoga teachers, she has gained the worldwide recognised yoga studies’ qualification awarded by “International Vasishta Yoga Research Foundation” (250h), taught by Saji.P.K.
Moreover, she is a certified YogaWorks teacher (500h), instructed by Anna Zorzou.
As far as Yoga is concerned, education never stops here, too; for this reason, important teachers such as Voula Bolou, junior intermediate III Iyengar Yoga Teacher, Biff Mithoefer, Yin Yoga Teacher, Pau Castellsague, Acro Yoga Teacher, Tim Feldman, Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, David Swenson, Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, Joan Marie Hyman, YogaWorks Teacher, Francoise Freedman, WellWoman Yoga Teacher, do their own bit on her personal identity through their seminars; but she does not stop here.
She has participated in seminars of Kids Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Ushui Reiki, Hot stones therapy, Swedish massage, Somatic-Psychoeducation organised by certified bodies.
Her courses are inspired with love by all her teachers and are based on flow, safety, alignment and joy.
In addition, she is Brand Ambassador of Russel Athletic in Greece and a permanent partner in the field of fitness in Tatiana Stefanidou women’s portal www.Tlife.gr.
For the last five years, she is the owner of the Yoga Pilates Center “The Tree Of Life”.
